BEARNAGH INVERSION

BEARNAGH INVERSION

Many locations you can return to and capture something much the same, but this photo I think I'll be lucky to ever repeat. It was taken on a Saturday morning after a week of some of the densest fog Northern Ireland had ever experienced. Intuition told me to get up high and so I headed for the summit of Slieve Binnian. Sure enough, the cloud had settled in the valleys below and so I made for Bussards Roost to take in this view looking across the reservoir towards Slieve Bearnagh.
